I promised I will write something here last week, remember?
Guess what, it's about the Electro Camp that was held last week!
What is Electro Camp? It's a big event where all the students of my faculty (FTEK, Electro Faculty to be exact) to gather together, welcoming the new students.
Last week there were 2014 students. Wow, It's been 3 years... Since I became a newcomer in my college.
It was (and will be always) be held in Pantaran, Ampel. Ampel is a small town near Boyolali, and Pantaran is a small village at the foot of Mt. Merbabu (If I am not mistaken). The pic above is the mountain view of Mt. Merbabu, and if you are curious, yes -- it is pretty cold there. It can reach about 17-18 Degree celcius at night.

...What if the Mt. Merbabu exploded? Nah, don't worry, it is a non-active mountain -- but still, there is a probability that it will explode one day. People can't predict the future, right?
So... What were we doing there? Woah, it's quite a secret. Who knows someone that read my post here someday wanna join the Electro Camp? It'll always be a big secret for us, the Electro students.
Was it fun? Fuckin of course! No one can resist the event, that's why it's always the same, and will always be held. The participants were not quite a lot, considering Electro students are limited. Even some oldies that already graduated from Electro were joining and willingly abandoned their amazing job out there just for this very event. The togetherness was pretty thick.

Oh yea, just so you know, I was the committee that holding this event. It was my class duty this year, and next year it will be the duty for the 2012 class.
During that event, there was a class-chief election. And yeah, the 'tumpeng' was used for that ceremonial purpose.
Thanks to the God that the event was held without a single problem. We were so happy that some committee cried, because of the happinness (preparing this event was quite tiring, you know).
Because of this event. I was not able to come back to meet my sweet GF. Yes, it was quite a shame though, regardless this week I will not able to come back again. It will be a long week again without you honey, and it will be a week full of missing you... again. :(
