Line Follower :P

My first line follower
Ever heard about line follower before? Yea, it's a robot that will follow the track on the floor ;)









Okay, that's a little result of my study at the college. With my friends (Jati and Ivan), after such an effort having a lot of tough times, starving, sleepy, dying, (almost) stressed out, and many times we spent together, finally we finished this robot assignment xD

Here is the video. In this video, it was before we re-made the sensors, coz of some error existed-like the 90 degree turn and the others.











A little bit-overview:
-Input: 8-9 volts (Using power supply)
-Output: about 6 volts to the motor DC
-Comparators: LM 358 and LM 324
-Logical IC: 78-04 (NOT gate), 78-00 (NAND gate), and 78-32 (OR gate)
-Sensors: we used the LEDs superbright and photo diodes. Guess what? We used 4 sensors while lots of our classmate used just 2 or 3 sensors :p
-Gearbox: I'm not sure about the ratio, we took it from toys anyway.
-Using h-bridge.
-And a lot of components like resistors, transistors, etc that can't be explained one by one.

*Note: There is no microcontroller coz we haven't learn it yet -__-*

Proud? Oh yea OF COURSE! We made it into finish smoothly, and we got the perfect score coz we're the fastest among the others! Hard works finally paid! LOL =))
